On the advice of Khenchen Namdrol Rinpoche, the construction of a new statue of Guru Rinpoche has just been completed on the hilltop at Lerab Ling. The statue, which faces in the direction of the temple, has been constructed with the aspiration to fulfil all of Mayum-la’s wishes, to benefit Lerab Ling, and to accumulate merit.

In June, Alak Zenkar Rinpoche made a deeply appreciated visit to Lerab Ling when he gave several oral transmissions and joined us in the practice of Sollo Chenmo. Recently, Khenchen Namdrol Rinpoche and his monks and nuns conducted a one-week Shitro puja (a practice of the 100,000 paceful and wrathful detities) which is an especially powerful practice for those who have died.
