Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche: Compassionate Living in the Modern World
to Oct 15

Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche: Compassionate Living in the Modern World

What does it mean to be a spiritual person in modern times?

How can we be flexible and courageous and explore life, in the face of the joys and difficulties it contains, whilst never losing touch with its deepest meaning?

During this weekend, Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche – a renowned Tibetan Buddhist Teacher who has been living and teaching in the West for almost 30 years – will address these important questions with his usual wisdom, humour and great clarity.

Many people have remarked on how Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche’s teachings, while firmly rooted in the tradition of the great masters of the past, are very relevant for us today giving us the tools to help meet our modern challenges with an open and intelligent heart.

Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche is the author of four books: It’s Up to You, Light Comes Through, Uncommon Happiness, and The Intelligent Heart: A Guide to the Compassionate Life.

Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche
to Aug 1

Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche

This retreat presents a rare opportunity to receive a complete transmission of this classic Tibetan Buddhist sacred text. ‘The Words of My Perfect Teacher’ was composed by the great Nyingma master, Patrul Rinpoche.

The work is an explanation of the Longchen Nyingtik ngöndro, the preliminary practices from the Longchen Nyingtik cycle of teachings, discovered by Jikmé Lingpa.

This famous commentary is a completely faithful written record of the oral teachings Patrul Rinpoche received directly from his teacher, Jikmé Gyalwé Nyugu.
