The 'Looks Like Me' image of  Guru Rinpoche

Guru Rinpoche, the 'Precious Master', is the founder of Tibetan Buddhism and the Buddha of our time.

It is said that, on seeing this statue at Samyé in Tibet, where it was made in the 8th century, Guru Rinpoche remarked, 'It looks like me', and then blessed it saying, 'Now it is the same as me!'

Statue of the Buddha, in the temple in Lerab Ling

This magnificent statue of the Buddha is a replica of the famous statue in the Mahabodhi temple at Bodhgaya in India, the place where the Buddha attained enlightenment. The seven-metre high statue contains a remarkable collection of relics, scriptures and precious objects. Lerab Ling is Rigpa's heart monastery, in southern France.
