Rigpa Prayer Request Service

You can sponsor prayers for people who are close to you, who may be ill, facing difficulties, dying, or recently deceased, by sending a prayer request to Lerab Ling.

Sogyal Rinpoche has trained a group of practitioners at Lerab Ling in the full range of Vajrayana practices that he himself practices every day, instructing them in all the appropriate visualizations and meditations that apply.

Many of these practitioners have completed the three-year retreat with Sogyal Rinpoche and have engaged in further personal retreats and intensive group practices.

Rinpoche has complete confidence in their ability to hold the practices authentically and to dedicate their prayers in the most powerful and caring way possible for everyone who requests prayers.

Offerings

By making an offering, a tangible connection is established between the person for whom the prayers are requested, and those who are reciting the prayers on their behalf.

The size of the donation does not matter as much as the motivation. However, we suggest a minimum offering of €20 to request prayers for someone who is ill or experiencing difficulties, and €40 for someone who has died.

You can request prayers and practices directly online, where you can also state the reason for the prayers. Your request will be read out to the practising community. You may also send a photograph of your friend or relative to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Please note that whilst we cannot guarantee the effectiveness of the prayers, we can ensure that all prayers and practices are performed according to tradition, in the most authentic way possible.
