Rigpa had arrived in 2000 at a new, and telling, point in its development—a time for the consolidation of all that had gone before. And perhaps it was no coincidence that at this juncture His Holiness the Dalai Lama, visited Lerab Ling, and in the context of a drupchen performed by the Namgyal monks, granted the empowerment of Tertön Sogyal’s Vajrakilaya and gave five days of teaching on The Path to Enlightenment.
