From this point on, the pace of change began to quicken. In 1991 a new centre was opened in Caledonian Road in London, and blessed by Kyabjé Dodrupchen Rinpoche, who also taught in Dzogchen Beara, and, while in France at the summer retreat, blessed the land indicated by Khyentse Rinpoche as the future retreat centre, Lerab Ling.

His Holiness Sakya Trizin, now on the fourth of his six visits to Rigpa London, performed the Wangchen—the elaborate empowerment—of Vajrakilaya, complete with ritual dances. He was to visit again with the great woman master of the Sakya tradition, Jetsun Chimey, in 1995, and to teach in Paris and Lerab Ling in 1996.
